Nothing on the Website creates a client relationship, and no client relationship is formed until a separate Engagement Agreement is executed between you and The Delhi Folk.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to Clause 16, the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website.

16. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it amicably through good-faith discussions. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi, India, and the proceedings shall be conducted in English.

Arbitration is optional. If you prefer to rely solely on the courts, this clause can be removed and Clause 15 will govern. Confirm your preference with your lawyer.

17. General

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Engagement Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Website.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that or any other provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
